There's a sign on the wall saying this place has been open since 1988. I can't believe I'm just now eating here! The food was amazing! Very reasonable price, We'll definitely be back!

U-City Grills has long been a place know for its excellent and affordable food. I've been here several times and honestly as a college students couldn't recommend U-City Grill higher.

Great place to eat and the price is so reasonable cash only so make sure to bring money!

5 stars because this Korean place was exactly as described in all previous reviews. The food is great and fast--made to order right in front of you--, the digs are barebone and old school (cash only), and the customer service is non-existent! As long as you know what you're getting into it's a delicious and extremely affordable meal. For a small diner like this, I also appreciate that there are multiple different vegetarian options!

Overall very solid value for money! Pricing is so cheap imo. Cash only. I came for lunch and was the only person on a weekday. Definitely a no frills, no nonsense place. The owner/chef doesn't talk much but I'm OK with that. Bulgogi Meat was marinated well. Egg done perfectly. The fried rice very savory and hit the spot. Portion size is decent. Very fast service. Worth a visit!

1 of my fav spots I've found in the STL area so far, for 2 reasons: 1st and foremost the food is yummy. I've eaten at this establishment about weekly since moving to STL 4 months ago, n the meat n other ingredients r quality thru-n-thru, every time, n the sauces on the diff dishes all have great flavor. It's certainly "Americanized" Korean food, but as an American who's tried traditional Korean food, I can't say that I mind that haha. (If you're looking for good, traditional Korean food, Sides of Seoul is another excellent spot.) 2nd reason is the price; this kitchen offers fast-food prices n faster than fast-food service, while maintaining sit-down-restaurant entree-quality. Hands down the best bang-for-ur-buck I've found out of any restaurant in STL. Lacking in ambience and polite service, but that's honestly not what I frequent this spot for. Also **CASH ONLY**

Great food. Cash only place, great value. This place is a whole in the wall and can be hard to find as there is no sign in the front. This place is good for the food, but not the customer service so don't expect much of the latter if coming here!

This is a CASH only place. Everything on the menu was under $9. I've heard of good things about U-city grill from several Korean friends but I somehow forgot about the place. I wanted a quick simple meal for lunch, so my partner suggested to go here. He came here multiple times before COVID but it was my first time. I ordered Bibimbop, and my partner got the combination plate ( rice, beansprout, beef and chicken) with extra meat. He was pleased with the beef but not the chicken. I was satisfied with my bibimbop. Next time I would add extra beef and kimchi. This shop reminded me of food stalls in Japan - tiny area with a few stools, definitely not place for a big party. Also, don't expect a great customer service. The owner does everything himself and makes the food in front of you so he's pretty busy. Remember, you're paying for the food. It's worth a try if you're in the area.

I was craving authentic Korean food and found this place on a Google search. It had decent reviews, so I took the chance and drove to this establishment. The restaurant is small and situated in the back of the building where all the shopping stores are. The place has no frills and bar style with limited seating area. This is a cash-only place. I ordered two meals, and both were delicious! This place is a hidden gem in STL, and I urge you to check out this place if you want Korean food one day.
